On that note, doom stacks get a major combat penalty, so spread your units out, and always cover the entire front with all enemies, because if the AI sees a single gap in your line it will try to exploit it and squeeze through. Supplies - Just make sure every unit is on territory connected to a port or directly to your homeland, and don't put 100,000 men in a marsh province.
